Shipping & Returns
Everything you need to know about pre-orders, delivery and returns for books ordered from our website.
Pre-orders
You pay when you place your pre-order. Every book is printed to order in the UK and posted in time for release day.
You can cancel a pre-order at any time before it's posted for a full refund. Email francesca@twelftreeinkworks.com with your order number.
If you order a pre-order and an already-released book together, the whole order is posted together once the pre-order is ready.
Delivery in the UK
Books are printed and posted from the UK. Delivery options and costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
Delivery to the EU
All books are printed and dispatched from the UK. Since Brexit, parcels sent from the UK to EU countries may be charged import VAT when they arrive, and couriers often add a handling fee for collecting it. These charges aren't included in our prices or postage. They're set by your country and paid directly to the courier on delivery.
If you'd rather avoid these charges, our paperback is also available on Amazon in your country, and the Kindle ebook can be downloaded anywhere.
We don't currently deliver outside the UK and EU.
Returns and refunds
- Damaged or faulty books: if your book arrives damaged or has a printing fault, email us within 30 days with your order number and a photo. We'll send a replacement or give you a full refund, and you won't need to send the faulty copy back.
- Changed your mind: you can cancel within 14 days of receiving your book. Email us to let us know, then return the book unused within 14 days. We'll refund the book and the standard postage you paid. Return postage is paid by you.
- Lost parcels: if your order hasn't arrived within 15 working days of dispatch, email us and we'll look into it.
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with.
